Résumé
Meyers Manx
Visual Identity Rebrand
Meyers Manx is an iconic California based dune buggy brand looking for an updated visual identity that focuses on the capabilities of their all terrain and electric vehicles. This new innovative design system enhances the customer experience by exploring new avenues for applying the brand identity, such as extending beyond just the vehicle itself and preserving its creative, rebellious spirit.
The original logo depicts a Manx cat, as a dune buggy drives as if it was this mischievous, erratic wild cat.
The new logo is a reinterpretation of the crest, featuring a side profile of a cat with a road motif, paying homage to the brand's racing heritage. The circular shape is ideal for application onto car steering wheels and tires.

Inspiration
Icons were crafted to represent all the seasons and functionalities of the dune buddy. They share the same structure as the road motif from the main logo.
The social media is focused on building a community where people would submit their own adventures in a Meyers Manx to be posted and recent events or races. I also chose to feature the brand's apparel/accessories collection as per the client request in leaning towards a lifestyle brand.
The homepage layout captures the chaotic essence of the Manx experience.
The secondary landing page showcases the capabilities of the new electric car.
As the brand expands its electric vehicle line, there is an opportunity to enter both private spaces with home chargers and public spaces through advertisements on charging stations.
Collaboration with GoPro
I researched and assembled this kit from GoPro's existing product range, tailoring it specifically for use with the dune buggy. The contents include two types of mounts and spare parts to cover all possibilities in case of any lost components during exhilarating rides.

Skills: Installation Design & Creative Coding
One of the most historic races was the Baja 1000, located in Baja, California. The shape of the tabletop is the shape of this area, with a textured surface to mimic the sandy environment. Visitors use the car to drive to different markers on the map. As the car crosses these markers, it would trigger a corresponding video about that location and footage of wild adventures.
For classroom purposes, I created a section of this tabletop, using sculpting clay which I modeled with tire track impressions and textured areas. The dirt particles that follow the car’s position were custom coded and built with mouse tracking in Processing.
